Force of Nature uses a technology called electrolyzed water, which is a technology used in industrial applications including wound healing, produce preservation, eye care, veterinary care, organic crop production, and also in green cleaning & sanitizing. Electricity is used to change the chemical composition of salt & water into 2 new ingredients. It’s typically made in industrial size tanks, but Force of Nature sizes the technology down for your countertop. You fill up the electrolyzer with tap water, squeeze in a Capsule of salt, water & vinegar, then Force of Nature passes an electrical charge through the solution. The solution is then converted into 2 new ingredients:

Hypochlorous acid (HOCl) , the disinfectant & sanitizer. This is the same substance your immune system produces to fight infection in your body. Besides being the active ingredient in wound therapy & eye care products, it’s also used as a hospital disinfectant.
Sodium hydroxide (NaOH), the cleaner & degreaser. This is a common detergent used at varying concentrations in products like toothpaste, skin moisturizers, and sunscreens, and in cleaning products. In cleaning products, concentrations are typically around 1-5%, but in Force of Nature it’s only 0.0000003%.

The product must kill a range of microbes at the 99.9% level within a specified amount of time.
